Kathryn Keats "After the Silence".
After participating in creating legal precedence and giving a face to domestic violence in the United States during a grueling jury trial, Keats forfeited her identity for twenty years, leaving her career in music and her identity, to protect her life. Keats says " It was hell, horrific, sad, and Ken's illness was the devil. Many lives have been saved because of that trial. Because of what Judge Leo Dorado did. Because of what we went through. Both Judge Dorado, Ken Ford and I. Ken died. My identity died. We made so much music together. I still have that music. He was never a bad man. He was tortured with illness. He left the planet and I am living on and picking up my calling. I am the lucky one."
